I Believe 2018

Throughout the years the holiday season has been a special time providing our women and children in need an opportunity to feel the generosity and caring of the community. The “I Believe” Campaign was developed to recognize hope and belief that things can get better.

The campaign is designed to assist women and children who have used our residential services and/or outreach counselling services within the past year and have gone on to live a life free of violence. Since its development in 1996 this campaign has delivered gifts to over 3,000 women and children. The campaign continues to grow and with the support of our community, volunteers and staff, it is our intention to positively support even more families in our community this year.

We are asking for new unwrapped, toys, gift cards and monetary donations to help those we assist to have an uplifting Holiday Season and continued support throughout the year.  Your support through the donation of gift cards and/or monetary donations will allow mothers to experience the joy of shopping and selecting gifts for her family.  Your financial support allows us to purchase gifts and gift cards on your behalf to meet the specific needs of women and children in need.

Further, we offer the opportunity to “Adopt-A-Family” through our I Believe Campaign.  Adopting a family provides the opportunity for donors to purchase gifts for a specific family.  We kindly ask that all gifts for your “adopted” family are new and unwrapped.

Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the Chatham Kent Women’s Centre, 20 Sandys Street, Chatham, ON, N7L 4Y5.
